Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist

This position is primarily responsible for daily shipping/receiving activities, clerical work and inventory control.
 
Core duties and responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned).
  • Daily shipping and receiving of parts, equipment & materials upon arrival
  • Coordinate and schedule the shipment and receipt of incoming and outgoing shipments with trucking companies, UPS, FED-EX, DHL Etc.
  • Communicate with customers to identify preferred method of shipment is required
  • Receive, post and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions daily.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • Track all WIP materials & parts used in equipment manufacture and repair.
  • Research inventory discrepancies, document errors and report to management.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts
  • Perform annual physical inventories.
  • Run daily, weekly and monthly reports as designated by management.
  • Keep parts cage, warehouse and personal work areas clean and orderly.
  • Work in a professional manner with other employees

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
