Dust is inevitable, and the best way to keep dust at bay is to not allow it onto your production floor in the first place. The Key Silicon Kap creates a tight connection to improve product flow while controlling dust. It prevents clouds of dust from bulk material discharge on tablet presses, capsule fillers, and other equipment.
A clean environment is one thing, but cleaning equipment is just as important. From polishing to dedusting, Key International has a few options for you to choose from. Removing excess dust from pressed tablets at speeds of up to 550,000 tablets/hour, the Key VATD-550 is a vertical ascending tablet deduster suitable for pharmaceutical tablets.
The popular TD101-WD is a light-weight, easily adjustable tablet deduster equipped with a variable speed vibrator, and designed to be easily utilized and washed down by the operator.
Lastly, is a classic capsule polisher that is an absolute must for any manufacturing company producing hard gelatin capsules. The Key Capsule Polisher CP-350-WD features an air-flo shaft that continuously removes dust from product, as well as an M-T capsule separator that removes empty, separated, or broken capsules. This polisher can handle speeds of up to 300,000 tablets per hour to deliver a quality product in less time.

Quality Assurance Equipment
Ensuring a consistent and high quality product is vital, which is why our QA machines guarantee results that we stand behind. To put your product to the test, we manufacture both a Key Friability Tester FT-400 and Key Hardness Testers HT300/HT500 to get the job done. In fact, our hardness tester is the most reliable and accurate compared to those on the market today. It comes in two models—30 K.P. and 50 K.P. and measure the strength of tablets to ensure that hardness falls within your quality specifications. All batch data is recorded and prints out automatically for validation.
On the other hand, the Friability Tester (FT-400) determines a tablet's resistivity to breakage using the 'ROCHE' test. The tablets are subjected to mechanical shock and measured for weight loss from the induced stress. Uninduced, some products become broken, chipped, contaminated, or otherwise defective in some way; it’s a normal part of the manufacturing process. The FT-400 is available either as a drop-count or timed-testing configuration.

By attaching the system to in-house compressed air, the Key Air Veyor elevates the product to a suitable height with no electrical connections required. Air flow is adjustable to deliver optimum flow through efficiency of most any product size, shape, and weight.

The KG-5 is ideal for R&D usage to process small batches of product. It has a flexible design that can be scaled up for added versatility in your operation as well as one, three, and five liter interchangeable bowls for batch scaling. For convenience, the KG-5 records recipes and parameters from automatic operations with a standard printer output to keep all the essential data on hand. It’s simple to clean thanks to the quick-release components; and because it’s a table-top model, it can be moved with ease. A liquid addition system and variable speed chopper (1,000-10,000rpm) aid in scaling batch size or accommodating different mix materials.
